POSITION: Kinship Program Supervisor
DIVISION/PROGRAM: Child & Youth Services
POSITION SUMMARY: The Kinship Program Supervisor is responsible for program management, staff supervision, service delivery, and quality assurance for Family Tree’s Kinship Programs, currently in Adams and Denver Counties. The primary goal of the Kinship Programs is to increase the stability of kinship families by providing comprehensive case management, financial assistance, and supportive services to families referred to Family Tree per county contracts.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in a human service related field or equivalent combination of training and work experience required. A minimum of three years of experience direct service experience with at-risk families required, preferably with kinship and/or TANF-eligible families. Demonstrated leadership and management skills required, with one year experience providing supervision to staff strongly preferred. Must be a collaborative, client-centered and strengths-based leader, with excellent conflict management and interpersonal skills. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships with community partners required. Knowledge of Metro Denver community resources and organizations preferred. Computer proficiency required, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and the ability to become proficient in Access, CBMS and Salesforce. Must demonstrate cultural competency skills, including a commitment to serving and working with all populations and people, with bilingual (English/Spanish) skills helpful but not required.
Must have access to acceptable transportation on a daily basis for various off-site meetings. Must have a valid Colorado driver’s license, car insurance, and acceptable motor vehicle record.
