POSITION: Domestic Violence Outreach Program Supervisor

DIVISION/PROGRAM: Domestic Violence Services

QUALIFICATIONS:  Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Human Services, or equivalent training and work experience.  Knowledge of domestic violence issues and a minimum of three years’ experience working with survivors of domestic violence required. Excellent verbal and written communication, computer, and organizational skills necessary.  A minimum of two years supervisory experience preferred and bilingual skills helpful.  CBI, Central Registry, and MVR checks required.

POSITION SUMMARY: Outreach Supervisor provides day-to-day administration and oversight of all components of Domestic Violence Outreach Services.  These components include the daily outreach and education efforts of the Outreach Advocates, individual and group advocacy, telephone response and referrals, data collection, data reporting and grant reporting.  The Supervisor will oversee and help direct co-located services under the Jefferson County Division of Youth and Children and Adams County, PorchLight Family Justice Center, as well as any other program contracts, grant agreements or MOU’s, and will provide direct services as needed to survivors.  Outreach Supervisor provides leadership within Family Tree Expanded Leadership Team to coordinate integrated services and provide an inter-related array of services that are culturally sensitive and focused on safety and empowerment of survivors of domestic violence.  Must demonstrate a commitment to serving and working with all populations and people.
