Training and Workshops


Join Family Tree experts for trainings held quarterly throughout the year. Family Tree volunteers and all community members are welcome to attend.

Volunteer Orientation - RSVP Now!
Anyone can attend this free training to learn more about Family Tree's volunteer and intern opportunities.

Orientations are held at two locations:
Family Tree's Administrative Office - 3805 Marshall St., Wheat Ridge
House of Hope - 3301 South Grant Street, Englewood.

Background checks are conducted on all volunteers and the cost is $35.00.

Bring the following items with you to the Volunteer Orientation:

Homelessness 101 Training
This workshop will explore the myths and realities of homelessness; give you local, regional and national stats on homelessness; and discuss ways in which you can help make a difference in reducing homelessness in your community.

Homelessness 101 is open to the general public for a fee of $15.00
