Family Tree Annual Girl
s Night Out Event Oct. 18th
Celebrates empowerment and change during Domestic Violence Awareness Month

Wheat Ridge, CO…Family Tree Girls Night Out celebrates empowerment and change in our community. Family Tree announced today that long-time Denver radio personality, Tracy Taylor (Jammin’ 101.5), will be the 2017 emcee for their annual Girls Night Out event. Held in October each year, in conjunction with Domestic Violence Awareness month, this year’s event will take place on October 18th from 6:00 - 9:00 pm at Lamar Street Center (5889 Lamar St., Arvada, CO).  Girls Night Out is a FUNdraising event to benefit Family Tree, an organization that is dedicated to helping individuals, families and communities overcome and prevent the interconnected issues of child abuse and neglect, domestic violence and homelessness.  Girls Night Out includes shopping, music, wine, fashion and fun.  A fashion show is held each year with well-known women in our community acting as models and helping raise awareness for this issue.

When asked about the event, emcee Tracy Taylor said, “I am so excited to be a part of this amazing night with Family Tree.  Domestic violence effects so many women. I believe it is important to take a stand and to show there is NO ROOM FOR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE in our community.”

Grab your girlfriends and join Tracy Taylor and Family Tree for this fun and exciting evening.  Tickets cost $50 per person, or bring your friends and get a 4-pack of tickets for $180.  For more information, visit www.thefamilytree.org or call Family Tree at 303-422-2133.
