The Denver Foundation awards $25,000 grant to Family Tree

Wheat Ridge, CO…Family Tree announced today that it has received a $25,000 grant  from The Denver Foundation to help further  providing life-changing services  focused on, domestic violence and homelessness. Family Tree is the only non-profit organization in the Denver metro area working to address the interconnectedness among child abuse and neglect, domestic violence and homelessness.  Within the last year, Family Tree provided services to nearly 24,000 people in the Denver metro area through the administration of an array of direct services to those affected by these issues including: in-depth and comprehensive case management, emergency residential care, housing and rental assistance, education and employment counseling, and crisis hotline, along with ancillary support to connect clients with vital community-based resources to achieve and maintain self-sufficiency
